About me

My services are all about you! But so that you know who you are dealing with, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.

I was born in World-cup-year 1974 and grew up in a small town in central Hesse, where people still greet each other on the street.

After graduating from high school, completing an apprenticeship at Dresdner Bank, doing community service and studying, I worked at EY for five years and then at Deutsche Bank for 19 years. For the last eight years, I was Managing Director there, which is the highest corporate title you can achieve in the company. I was globally responsible for international teams from four continents.

The skills I acquired during this time have been confirmed by many colleagues on LinkedIn, e.g.:

  • Inspiring and motivating people (strategy development)
  • Seeing creative possibilities that others do not see (problem solving, continuous improvement)
  • Understanding, structuring, simplifying and explaining complex relationships in a way that is easy to understand (analysis, presentation)

I have been happily married for over 20 years and have two children and two dogs. As you may have already noticed from the pictures, I enjoy being by the sea.

About my coaching

On the subject of the sea: there are coaching providers like sand on the seashore and the market is very opaque.

What makes my coaching special:

  • I understand both the employee and employer perspectives and have hired, supported and promoted many talented people, successfully guiding them as a manager, coach or mentor.
  • My coaching incorporates the importance of physical and mental fitness as well as healthy nutrition. So it’s not just about success, but also about the balance between soul (anima) and body (corpo).
  • As a trained risk manager, I tend to be introverted, although over the years I have also learned to be extroverted. So don’t expect a ‘Tsjakkaa!’ approach but a down-to-earth, analytical approach with a long-term perspective.

One important presentation was a turning point in my career, as it left such a lasting impression that people were still talking about it years later. It had the right story and was planned in such a way that I could make the most of the opportunity. I would be happy to give you further examples of success that fit your topic.

A selection of coaching-related training courses that I have completed in Germany and the United Kingdom:

  • GROW Model according to Whitmore
  • Zurich Resource Model according to Krause / Storch
  • Communication according to Schulz von Thun
  • Transactional Analysis according to Berne
  • CliftonStrength – Strengths Coaching
  • Insights Discovery – Personality Development

I am also a fitness trainer (A-license) and nutritionist.
